Company Car in Action (CCIA) 2023 was a resounding success for Volkswagen Group. Held at the famous Millbrook Proving Ground in Bedfordshire on 14 and 15 June, CCIA is the flagship event for all things fleet.

Volkswagen Group had 28 vehicles on display from Audi, Skoda, CUPRA, Volkswagen Passenger Cars and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles. All models on display were either plug-in hybrid (PHEV) or fully-electric vehicles (EV), with the main focus being on the Volkswagen ID. Buzz and ID. Buzz Cargo, Volkswagen ID.4, CUPRA Born, Škoda Enyaq and Audi Q4 e-tron.

The event went down a treat, with hundreds of test drives booked in – and many being pre-booked. Speaking of test drives, there were three routes to try the vehicles on: the high-speed bowl, city course and the hill route (as seen in the 2006 James Bond film, Casino Royale). All three highlighted a vehicle’s capabilities and proved to be an enjoyable experience.

Marcus also took the opportunity to drive vehicles from other manufacturers, purely out of curiosity and to see how well their offerings compared to Volkswagen Group’s line-up.

Other manufacturers on display included BMW, Stellantis and Tesla.
