A podcast to get the world talking about the future of work
Challenge
To take the strategic issues that matter to the CIPD – including the future of work, AI in the workplace and DE&I – to a wider audience of opinion formers and businesspeople, and attract experts to engage in the conversation.

The What If? podcast takes high-ground conversations from the pages of Work. magazine, produced by Wonderly on behalf of the CIPD, and turns them into an engaging podcast in which two experts take opposing positions on important questions concerning the future of work. By asking ‘what if we did away with hierarchy at work’ or ‘what if all pay was transparent’, and answering these questions in a half-hour show with excellent production values and an emphasis on intelligent debate, the podcast helps the CIPD shape vital debates and extend its influence globally.

Results
The first series of the podcast, released in early 2022, enjoyed a cumulative total of more than 10,000 listens, exceeding expectations and providing an excellent platform on which to build further growth.
