How Wonderly supported the biggest RCPCH event on record
On 25 and 26 March 2024, the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH) welcomed over 2,300 attendees at their Annual Conference and Exhibition at the ICC Birmingham – for what turned out to be their largest conference and exhibition ever.
In 2024, for the first time, Wonderly partnered with the RCPCH to support their in-house event and partnership teams with the design and delivery of the complex medical event. We provided PCO services including sponsorship and exhibition sales, delegate registration and customer services, abstract and poster management and virtual event app management.
And what a success this has been! The partnership had a flying start, as we were able to double the sponsorship and exhibition revenues versus the previous year and managed to fully integrate with their in-house event team to ensure the smoothest delegate experience and event delivery.
Here’s what Emma Duffy, the new RCPCH Head of Events had to say: “We’ve been working with Wonderly since October 2023 and they have very quickly become an integral part of our Event and Corporate Services Teams, supporting several key areas of our Annual Conference as well as our SPEX sales. In a few short months, they have exceeded our SPEX target by in excess of £50K and have professionally and expertly supported our delegates and colleagues through abstract submission and registration. Nothing is too much trouble for the team, they are open and honest if things can’t be done and they are great problem solvers to offer alternative options. Our core team is a delight to work with and we are excited to continue to collaborate to develop future events that exceed the expectations of our members and supporters”.
